The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.
SASSA is going to be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is alarmed regarding the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office committed to service the area every day. The company place designed for intervention experiences a large inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
